Meet The Founder

With 14 years in the recruitment industry, Sophie Thomas brings deep, cross market expertise shaped by experience across Australia, the UK, and Europe.

She has partnered with growing startups and values led NFPs to national brands and global corporates across a wide range of industries including retail, FMCG, professional and financial services, technology, construction, and more.

Sophie is a builder of long term, trusted relationships. Many of her clients continue working with her for years, because she delivers, brings consistency, and becomes a genuine extension of their team.

Sophie's approach is grounded in genuine care for people, a commitment to doing the right thing.

The Klueya Brand Story

The name Klueya isn’t just a brand, it’s a reflection of what matters most. It’s a powerful fusion of the names of those closest to my heart:

K _ for Kye, my Husband

Lu _ for Luna, my youngest daughter

Eya – for Freya, my eldest daughter

They are my why.
They’re the reason I show up with grit, with purpose, and with ambition especially on the hard days. Every time I say “Klueya,” I’m reminded of what I’m building, why I started, and who I’m doing it for.

After 14 years in recruitment, working with some of the most inspiring leaders, founders, and brands, I realised I was helping others build legacies while quietly yearning to build my own. I’d always worked with care, integrity, and ambition, but I wanted to channel that energy into something that was truly mine. A business with heart and a brand with longevity whilst continuing to challenge the industry to be better.

So, Klueya Consulting was born.

The vision? To create a consultancy that blends strategy with soul. One that doesn’t just fill roles, but transforms how organisations think about talent, hiring, and leadership.

One that partners deeply with clients to attract high impact people who don’t just fit culture but add to it and one that helps individuals take control of their career journeys with clarity, confidence, and dignity

.Growing up in what felt like a single parent household, I saw firsthand what it meant to work hard and believe harder. My mum showed me what quiet resilience looks like. That drive, the belief that anything is possible is woven into the DNA of this business. And now, I want to pass that on to my daughters, to other women, to every client, candidate, and connection who dares to think big.

At Klueya, we don’t just recruit, we partner, we advise, we challenge, and we care.
